The sylph aversion to ash, combined with a dearth of wildlife even in Llyri, leaves few viable sources for meat, and due to the xihra’s own diet, it is a particularly acquired taste. Some love it. Some are content to remain vegetarian.
In Erj, that is an especially strong opinion.
