A particularly challenging factor which looms over Erjan horticulture is environment; though the bulk of flora fit for planting has long since adapted to Erj’s xeric conditions, most soil is nevertheless minimal in nutrients, and rain is rare—let alone rain clean enough to offer substantial benefit to crops.
Erjan trees and most flowers are a notable exception in their ease of cultivation, and with minimal upkeep can be grown just about anywhere—in particular, in and around dead flora and fauna.
