The Puce-Ringed Vexuvia is a rare colour variant of the more common Taupe-Ringed Vexuvia, celebrated by enthusiasts for the brilliant reds and pinks that make it a jewel of any serious collection.
It is also said it tastes better than its taupe-ringed counterpart, which itself is often used for cooking, or made into tea—however, given the prices Puce-Ringed Vexuvia command, this is a claim expensive enough to put to the test that few have ever bothered.
