The Western regions of Amnu and Odashq are bestrewn with thousands of towering white columns. At first blush, these monoliths bear significant similarity to the Ejskan ruins ubiquitous throughout the West; indeed, each are wrought of the White Mesas’ refulgent stone.

In truth, the columns belong to the later—and extant—Amnuae people, the once-dominant civilization for which the region of Amnu is named. Thus, unlike the Ejskan hands which have puzzled researchers for centuries, the original purpose of the columns is known, and it is, perhaps predictably, mundane: they are simple territory markers, meant to impress and intimidate neighbouring territories with their cryptic immensity.
