Imbra Ridge Outpost is notable as having been the first constructed outside of the sylph's home region of Llyri, with the purpose of keeping a watchful eye upon travellers passing to and from—but especially to—the sylph-controlled region. Originally completed on 1969.289, the humble outpost, located within walking distance of Llyri's border with neighbouring Amnu, was at the time considered a symbol of the sylph's indomitable will as they expanded into the hostile Waste.
In the generations since its construction, Imbra Ridge has been surpassed by deeper and more well-known outposts such as Temerity, Aegis White, and Moonwake—the latter being a self-contained permanent settlement. Nevertheless, Imbra Ridge remains of great import to the legacy of the sylph, and continues its vigil over the road to Llyri.
