Clean water is not as difficult to come by in Erj as one might guess; indeed, the four races of Erj survive in part because they have long since each mastered the filtration and distribution of drinking water on both commercial and individual scales. Virtually anywhere one may care to travel, water is reasonably plentiful, and available for free.
Nevertheless, this has never once stopped any number of charlatans from claiming their water provides miraculous physiological benefits, available to its imbiber—for but a small fee. This practice is naturally frowned upon, though the desperate are never in short supply—and, thus, neither are those who would take advantage of them.
