Ash-adjusted sylph primarily leave Llyri on state business—most often, to help the Conservatory piece together their species’ past through archaeological expedition.

Excursions into the Landing Vale—the great valley in upper Llyri—and even into the erjan wasteland beyond have proved fruitful, revealing hundred of artifacts and technologies that hint at a particularly unique sylph heritage. Whether or not that heritage is divine is a matter of continual debate. The Conservatory’s official position is an emphatic ‘yes’.
