Ybric thralls have no compunction about ending their own lives. As far as Erjan researchers can gather, ritual suicide is perhaps the single largest reason Ybric cults do not represent a larger threat to civilization at large. Indeed, a thrall's career is invariably capped by the taking of his or her own life, and often exceedingly quickly. After all, to be unmade is to be forever a part of Ybris' flawless absence of being, and many who choose the life of a thrall are less concerned with the maintenance of order, with sending all that exists back to the void, than their own attainment of purity in nothingness.
